produce

taste the season

46 North Farm grows produce during late spring through fall, taking advantage of our usually mild coastal growing season. On the north Oregon coast cool-weather crops really shine, from leafy greens and snap peas to root vegetables and cabbages.

We use unheated hoop houses to propagate our plants and give them a jump start on the season, and to house some of the warmer weather loving crops that we just can't completely live without: tomatoes, basil, peppers and eggplant.

We're always looking for new crops to trial, both re-discovered heirlooms and new varieties bred by seed stewards we admire, seeking delicious and productive plants that will grow well in our region. We hope to provide our community with an abundance of delicious produce to savor, preserve, cook and enjoy.

We sell our produce to many local restaurants, to the Astoria Co-op Grocery and through a small CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. If you are interested in being on the waiting list for our CSA, please send us an email to info@46northfarm.com and we’ll let you know when space becomes available.
